For our Chicago Beautiful Smiles holiday party this year, we started at the office with cheese and sparkling wine to toast the New Year!  After giving Dr. Hartlieb and Dr. Ching their presents from the team, they surprised us with a private guided tour of The Lincoln Park Zoo!  We did not look forward to the impending subzero weather but we came prepared with hand-warmers that Sari had gotten us and we bundled up tight!  Needless to say it was a very special experience.  Our master tour guide, Mariah, taught us so much about the Ape house and Lion house.  She informed us of the amazing renovations to come while taking her time walking with us as if it was our first time there.  For one of our team members, Ania, it actually was her very first visit to the zoo!  Lincoln Park Zoo is such a treasure especially since it is one of the last zoos that remain free of admission in the US.  After the tour we took a crisp stroll to see all the colorful zoo lights.  We then walked to Mon Ami Gabi where we were treated to a delectable French dinner and enjoyed wine varietals curated by Dr. Hartlieb.  Thank you doctors for a holiday party to remember always!  The team had a fantastic time!
