William “Bud” Mopper, DDS, MS received his Bachelor of Science and DDS from the University of Iowa and his MS from the University of Illinois.
Dr. Mopper is an internationally renowned lecturer in esthetic dentistry with an emphasis on composite bonding using direct application techniques. He co-authored, A Complete Guide to Dental Bonding, which was the first definitive book for the dental profession describing bonding techniques. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and a Founder and Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Mopper has taught direct resin bonding on a continuing education level at many major Universities including the University of Iowa, The University of Minnesota, Louisiana State University, University of Nebraska, University of Illinois and University of Kentucky. Dr. Mopper is the recipient of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry awards for “Lifelong Commitment to Providing Excellence in Continuing Education in Cosmetic Dentistry” and for “Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry”. He also received the New York University College of Dentistry Irwin Smigel Prize in Aesthetic Dentistry, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from GenR8TNext seminars.
Dr. Mopper has published widely, is director of education for the Center for Esthetic Excellence, in Chicago, IL, and is Co-founder and Chairman of Cosmedent, Inc. where he is responsible for its educational programs and product development.
